Beeswax wraps are a natural plastic-free alternative to cling film and foil.
This pack contains two medium beeswax food wraps, handmade in small batches by local Yorkshire business Starfish Living.
2 x 30cm x 30cm (one striped and one ivory with bees)
Use and care
Use to wrap cheese, sandwiches, fruit and vegetables and cover bowls and plates using the warmth of your hands to mould and seal the wrap.
To clean: rinse or wipe with cool water and mild detergent. We recommend once a month the wrap is refreshed by placing in the oven on a lined baking tray for 3 minutes at 100 degrees Celsius.
Beeswax wraps should last at least one year with care. They can then be cut up and put on the compost heap or used as firelighters.
Wraps are flammable. Ensure food wrapped is cool and do not use to wrap raw meat, raw fish or pineapple. Not suitable for microwave or dishwasher.
Ingredients and allergens
100% cotton fabric, yellow beeswax, raw organic extra-virgin coconut oil, pine lump resin.
Avoid using if sensitive to pine resin or bee products. Avoid using if allergic to nuts.
About the supplier

These are much better than other beeswax wraps I’ve bought. Flexible and keep their hold really well. Also, fantastic designs. I love them!
